Meet Elaine (and Tofu)

I met Elaine waiting in line for an iced matcha.

We were at a marketing conference in Austin, when I introduced myself. Elaine quickly leaned over to me and said,

“I swear Sybill is the my #1 tool. I love it.”

I’d soon discover that not only is Elaine a Sybill power user, but she is crazy good at riding a mechanical bull (but that’s a story for another time).

On paper, Elaine Zelby is the CRO and Co-founder at Tofu, a marketing campaign automation platform based out of San Mateo. Her day-to-day is chaotic, filled with back-to-back calls, customer meetings, the works. She’s running a freakin’ company.

TLDR: she doesn’t have a lot of free time on her hands.

So binge-watching sales calls and digging through a CRM to understand Tofu’s deals just isn’t an option for her.

Elaine needed a way to get need-to-know deal information, competitive intelligence, and call prep on a highly automated schedule without.

Here’s how Elaine gets need-to-know deal information, competitive intel, and call prep on her schedule (with the help of Sybill, of course):

1. The Monday morning deal gut-check

Most of Elaine’s Sybill prompts run on a schedule. Her favorite? A Monday morning deal gut check.

Every Monday morning, Sybill reviews every single open opportunity in Tofu's pipeline and answers two straightforward questions:

  • What’s the single next step?
  • What’s the biggest risk?

No dashboards to pull. No Slacking reps or taking extra meetings. Elaine gets two bullet points for every deal, right in her inbox.

She called it the  “10,000-foot view” of her pipeline. She gets a fast gut-check that she can use to hold her reps accountable during weekly sales meetings.

2. The competitive + product feedback dashboard

Every 60 days, Elaine runs a scheduled prompt that pulls the most common objections, competitive situations, and feature requests directly from her team’s sales calls.

But instead of combing through massive walls of text, she feeds Sybill’s output into Claude using Sybill’s MCP server.

From there, Claude then turns all of that data into a clean, highly visual dashboard that auto-refreshes every 60 days.

Sybill provides the deal analysis and reasoning, while Claude creates the visualization.

So instead of digging for information, Elaine can:

  • instantly spot qualification issues (like bad timing or lack of budget),
  • keep a pulse on Tofu’s competition,
  • and get ready-to-share feature requests with Tofu's product and engineering teams.

3. Auto-created business value cases

Every startup wants to look bigger and more professional than they are. One way Elaine and the Tofu team do this is by auto-creating business value cases using Sybill and Claude.

When a deal reaches the mid-funnel "evaluating" stage, Sybill automatically pulls all the relevant deal data and generates a polished document using Tofu’s specific logos, colors, and formatting (pre-loaded in a Claude skill).

So Tofu account executives get a fully branded business value case for every deal, directly in Slack, ready to hand off to their champion. The fully branded business value case is delivered directly to the Account Executive in Slack, ready to be passed along to their champion.

This makes the Tofu team look like they really have their sh*t together, and makes prospects feels the entire deal is buttoned up.

4. Running her day (and deal reviews) with Sybill

Beyond using Sybill to run her team, Elaine uses Sybill to run her day.

Every morning, she gets a brief in her inbox with agendas and past interactions for all her upcoming back-to-back calls.

She also relies on a weekly deal update that reviews every new deal created in the past seven days. And, you guessed it, she pushes it to Claude to build a deal risk dashboard.

Elaines deal risk dashboard breaks down lead sources, main use cases, and risks, allowing her to pattern-match successful deals and know where her pipeline is weak, without combing through her CRM or slacking reps.

It also serves as a springboard to drive weekly deal reviews with her team.

Summary

Tofu is growing fast and Elaine’s days are chaotic.

With Sybill, Elaine:

  • Gets a 10,000 ft view of her deals with her Monday morning gut-checks, serving up next steps and biggest risks for all Tofu’s deals in two bullet points.
  • Keeps a pulse on competitive intel + product feedback with a visual dashboard she built using Sybill's MCP server and Claude.
  • Makes Tofu look like an enterprise powerhouse with automated, branded business value cases for every deal.
  • Runs her days and deal reviews with daily briefs and weekly pipeline summaries delivered straight to her inbox.

Bottom line: Tofu CRO uses Sybill's scheduled prompts and MCP to keep a real-time understanding on what’s happening in her business, without having to dig for answers.
